KOCAS visual art education was founded in April 1997. The school was established to fill the need for quality art classes for school children from grade 1 to year 12.   In recent years, we put strong focus in preparing high school students for VCE or IB art studies.  Our tuition classes for VCE art subjects have become very popular.

Our well designed and structured programmes enable students grow artistically and creatively from a young age, in particular, introducing different art forms to assist them build up  various art strength, skills and techniques and acquire a collection of knowledge about the Arts.   Our programmes strongly support those who participate in VCE art studies to achieve highly and gain first preference entry to their art or design studies at tertiary levels.

Over the past 29 years, many of our students have been long standing ones for 7-12 years. Many of them have become dedicated art teachers or lead successful careers in the art and design industries.  As for those who didn’t further their studies or work in the art & design area, art practices is still their passion.

KOCAS visual arts education retains its teaching philosophy to nurture students’ creative spirits and their passion for learning about Visual Arts. Through exposure to a rich variety of media and working with exploration and experimental approaches to art. Our programmes bring out the best of each student, help them develop and build confidence not just for achieving their artistic ambition but for their own well being as well.
