Classes for our senior primary school students are technique based which deliver fundamental and intermediate art skills and knowledge with the use of a broad range of media. Students also learn about elements and principles of art and design through art projects each term. Units covered are drawing, painting, printing, mixed media, textiles and sculpting – ceramics and mixed media. The expanded range of art forms encourages students to explore the world of visual arts and their creativity. Curriculum is carefully planned and topics for each term are usually related or extended from one term to the next, therefore it is preferred that students maintain a regular attendance. Our students’ course work pieces are often of very high standard, they are always master pieces for keepsake.
